Core Team

Craig Laurence Rice

Chairman & Chief Creative Officer

Craig is an award-winning producer and director, and is nationally recognized for his distinguished career in the music television and film industry. Craig brings creativity and business experience into the creation and development of the Mora Global™ product set.
Craig brings to Mora Global stellar experience as an entertainment business executive, entrepreneur, educator, award-winning producer and director. Craig is a Co-founder, Executive Committee Member, shareholder and leads Mora Global’s Artists & Repertoire (A&R) team. He is also a co-inventor of Mora Global patent applications. He is nationally recognized for his distinguished career in the music, commercial, television and feature film industries. Craig received Emmy and Academy nominations for producing “We Teach Our Children”, a documentary for ABC TV. He was also producer of PBS’ “A Prairie Home Companion 30th”, executive producer of the nationally syndicated “Million Dollar Idea”, and executive producer and director for the HBO documentary “Half Past Autumn: The Life and Works of Gordon Parks”, which was nominated for three Emmy awards and an NAACP Image Award. Since 2007, Craig has been an adjunct professor at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. He has also taught at McNally Smith College of Music. His outstanding career in the music industry includes serving as: Director of Paisley Park Enterprises, Inc. an Executive with MCA records; and artist manager and road and tour manager for domestic and international musical tours for recording artists including Prince, Bobby Brown, Taj Mahal and Whitney Houston. His non-profit service to the arts includes the Minnesota Film & Television Board (MNFTVB), Minnesota College of Art & Design (MCAD), Screen Writers Workshop, Minnesota Independent School Forum, World Voices and The Film Society of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Craig still serves as a dedicated board member of the Film Society of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Jess Lyons

Director & Chief Design Officer

Jess is often described as the “heart and soul” of the Mora Global™ product set. She has an eye for design and an ear for music. Additionally, she is the lead inventor of the company’s patent portfolio and heads the implementation of the core values of the product offering.
Jess serves as a pivotal point of coordination and collaboration among Mora Global’s product development, information technology and Artists & Repertoire teams. She interfaces with vendors to ensure product requirements are met and intellectual property is protected and maintained. She is a Co-founder, Executive Committee Member, shareholder and the lead inventor of the two Mora Global patent application which was filed by Fish & Richardson on December 30, 2017. Jess’s priorities are to maintain the essence of the company’s mission statement and core values throughout the product development process and to help guide the development and execution strategy. Jess works to ensure a consistent and complimentary user experience throughout Mora Global's product lines. She also works closely with the CPO and CTO to integrate the efforts of Deloitte Digital and Globant Ratio for the implementation of feature sets in the app. Jess also has worked for Marquee International, specializing in growing emerging companies through strategic business development.

Jon Beck

Chief Technology Officer

Jon is a successful entrepreneur, with 18 years of experience developing web-based and mobile applications. Not only does he have innovative ideas, he has the technical acumen to bring them to life.
Jon, as CTO, provides leadership in integration of all technical and product development aspects of the Mora Global product set. As a Co-founder, Executive Committee Member, shareholder and co-inventor of the Mora Global patent applications, Jon has been an integral member of the company’s patent development. He is Co-founder of Sprocketwire Inc., a Minneapolis based tech firm which has been developing web-based and mobile applications for more than 18 years. Jon brings to Mora Global in-depth technical experience with networks, servers, and cloud services. He has managed a wide variety of programming and technical projects which often require integration of client-side software, databases, internet resources and visual design. Providing software solutions has been Jon’s primary focus working with organizations such as BBC, CHS, 3M, Janssen, United Airlines, The Nature Conservancy, and American Flow Control.

Aaron Prust


Aaron has been developing software on a wide variety of platforms for 20 years. Aaron comes in as a versatile and skilled developer for the Mora Global application.
Aaron provides consulting in the software development of Mora Global product set. He is Co-founder of Sprocketwire Inc., a Minneapolis based tech firm which has been developing web-based and mobile applications for more than 18 years. Aaron brings to Mora Global in-depth technical experience in software development for desktop,web-based, and mobile applications. He has managed a wide variety of programming and technical projects which often require integration of client-side software, databases, and internet resources. Aaron combines these technical skills with the desire to communicate with clients to help them engineer practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Providing software solutions has been Aaron's primary focus working with organizations such as 3M, CHS, The Nature Conservatory, Pearson Education, Cenex, BBC, Janssen, United Airlines, and American Flow Control.

Bill McDonald

Serving as CFO & CAO

Bill has worked in the startup field for over 20 years by creating the structure and guidance needed for startups to grow and expand.
Before joining Mora Global Mr. McDonald has served in a variety of C-Level positions (including CFO/CAO, Controller, Treasurer and Board Secretary positions) for companies that ranges from true “Startup” technology companies, as well as established SMB and Enterprise size public and private companies. Mr. McDonald’s extensive professional background includes successfully taking Digitiliti, Inc., a startup technology company public through a reverse-merger transaction directly financed via “Accredited Angel” venture capital. Having raised substantial private equity and accredited investor financing over the prior 20 years, Mr. McDonald is uniquely positioned to provide select financial leadership for Mora Global and its shareholders. Mr. McDonald holds an Inactive Public Accounting Certificate and Juris Doctorate from the William Mitchell College of Law.

Charley Howe

Director & Chief Brand Officer

Charley is a veteran marketing agency executive with 20+ years of experience working with established as well as emerging and start-up brands across numerous industries. Charley brings the vision of Mora Global™ to life through brand branding, digital marketing and the execution of marketing strategy.
Charley is a Co-founder and shareholder at Mora Global and he also leads the strategic marketing and communications functions. His proven branding, marketing, public relations and content skills were honed during his career in international marketing and public relations agencies. Charley played key roles in major agencies, including PR agency Weber Shandwick as the Director of Business Development, advertising agency Colle + McVoy as the Vice President - Account Group Director, and media agency True Media in which he is the Vice President - Client Development. Charley has worked for non-profit organizations and corporations, and even operated his own consulting business. He has consulted with numerous emerging businesses as an advisor to owners. He has designed and managed communications programs for well-known brands including Ecolab, Red Wing Shoe Company, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Thor Industries, PGA, and Hawk Performance.

Dr. Roger Dumas

A&R Scientist

As a neuromusicologist, one of Roger’s many passions is studying the brain’s response to music. At Mora Global™ his skills are instrumental in developing music information retrieval technology.
Dr. Roger Dumas is a neuromusicologist, Co-founder and shareholder. His investigation of music and cognition is central to the success of key components of the Mora Global product set. His research into how the human brain processes melody contributes to the creation of the patent for one of our key applications. He was an early adopter of analog and digital synthesis, sampling and multi-track digital recording. Dr. Dumas was awarded gold and platinum records by the Recording Industry Association of America for his work in the recording studio with Janet Jackson, Lipps Inc. (Funkytown) and The Jets. In 1978, he introduced a 17-year old Prince to the Oberheim, 4-voice synthesizer, drilling him for hours in the intricacies of analog synth programming. Their association continued over the years, with frequent sessions at Paisley Park to instruct Sheila E, the Revolution and the New Power Generation in the use of cutting-edge music technology. Roger has spoken at conferences for the Society for Music Perception and Cognition, the International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition, and the Society for Neuroscience. His doctoral thesis is titled, “Melodies in Space: Neural Processing of Musical Features” and he has published an article in the Journal o Mathematics and Music titled “What Pre-Whitened Music Can Tell Us About Multi-Instrument Compositions.” Dr. Dumas holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Minnesota and an MA in Learning Technology from the University of St. Thomas.

Gary Katz

A&R Audio Production

Gary is a legendary record producer who has helped to create some of the best-known music of our time. Gary’s input is integral to the creation of the unique product sets of Mora Global™.
Gary Katz is a Co-founder, shareholder and critical element for development of the MoraGrams. As an industry innovator, Gary entered the music business working with Bobby Darin. He produced at Avco-Embassy Records, and then with ABC/ Dunhill Records. Gary also has broad experience with A&R, participating in artist signings such as Jim Croce, Chaka Khan, Rufus and Jimmy Buffett. Gary is most famous for his work as a producer on every Steely Dan album recorded during the first run of their career, from “Can’t Buy a Thrill” to “Gaucho”, as well as the Donald Fagen solo album, “The Nightfly”. Gary’s other production credits include albums by Diana Ross, Joe Cocker and other national artists. He was one of two people principally responsible for signing several artists to Warner, including Prince, Dire Straits, Christopher Cross and Rickie Lee Jones. Gary was a central player in the music industry’s digital recording revolution. He acquired the music industry’s first digital multi-track recorders, the 3M Digital Audio Mastering System, which consisted of a 32-track deck (16-bit, 50 kHz audio) running 1-inch tape and a 4-track, 1/2-inch mastering recorder and produced the first digital recording (“Gaucho”) in the history of recorded music.

Drew Sondeland

Production Supervisor

Drew is an experienced Editorial and Post-Production Producer and has worked on all types of media, including feature films, TV series, broadcast commercials, social media, music, gaming and mobile apps. Drew is pivotal for the production and creation of the Mora Global™ product offerings.
Drew joined the Mora Global team in the fall of 2017 as the Production Super managing all things related to the production aspect of the Mora Global product set. Although one of Drew’s primary responsibilities is overseeing the technical aspects, his role extends far beyond that as he also manages processes, security protocols, budgets, and managing the editing team. For the past 10 years Drew has managed post-production for feature films, TV series, broadcast commercials, social media, music, gaming and mobile apps. He produced the feature film, “Voice from the Stone” where he managed editorial in Italy, sound mixing in California, composing in London and final delivery for Domestic, International and VOD. He has also managed post production for the Food Network hit “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”. At his previous employer, Drew designed and implemented strict security protocols to protect licensed assets to meet the demanding data security compliance requirements needed to work with Marvel Movie Studios. With 10 years of managing teams of all sizes and projects of all natures, Drew has plenty of stories to tell and lots of experience to fall back on. When not solving the world’s post-production problems you can find Drew at home with his wife and two kids or at the golf course.


Cory Stilp

Director & Strategic Advisor

Cory is a valued Co-founder, director, and business advisor of Mora Global™. He has a wealth of experience ranging from law enforcement to sales, finance, and management.
Cory is a Co-founder and an early investor in Mora Global. He is a member of the board of directors and a valued business advisor to the Company. Cory also serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Asset Preservation, a Minnesota-based personal finance advisory firm. Previously, Cory ran a highly successful district sales team for insurance giant Aflac. Cory hired, trained and managed a team of agents which won a long series of Aflac performance awards. Previously he built a successful investment office for Edward Jones. Cory excels at a results-driven, hands-on, method of leadership with respect to growth and operations. He maintains a team-orientated approach with an eye towards the future. Cory spent ten years as a S.W.A.T./Special Response Team officer, ultimately holding the title of Team Commander. He was frequently honored for extraordinary leadership and achievement during his law enforcement career. He has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from St. Thomas University.

Lisa Ludgate

Director & Advisor

Lisa is an effective Board member who values listening and finding new ways to solve complex problems. She understands the necessity to effectively make decisions and pivot quickly in the high-tech industry.
Lisa is a seasoned leader who has worked in the high-tech industry for over 30 years. She has worked for IBM, Computer Network Technology, McData, Brocade, Arris/Ruckus and currently CommScope/Ruckus. She held senior leadership positions responsible for service/support product development & management, new product introduction, sales operations, partner management/programs, subscription/support renewal sales & operations, deals desk, field inventory and training. She has been involved in over 20 acquisitions from due diligence thru integration and has developed and launched numerous IT solutions including, but not limited to, ERP, CRM, Partner Portals, Configure/Price/Quote solutions, automated subscription/maintenance renewals and credit card processing solutions. She has held I have had full P&L responsibilities managing multimillion-dollar budgets and have successfully grown my revenue year over year. Some of her experience is in I have growing service and support businesses from $10M to over $300M, increasing margin contribution from 40% to 75% and have also built renewal solutions & sales team from the ground up. She led diverse, worldwide teams and pride myself on my ability to set strategic direction, build cohesive leadership teams, develop/drive operational & communication plans, achieve deadlines & goals and motivate/mentor and grow her teams.
